metroCode is a mobile service that extends the capability of your cell phone by letting you use it to browse and activate your surroundings. Contextualizing content is made available on demand.

In May 2006 metroCode launched with a cell phone tour of the Vancouver Sculpture Biennale, an 18-month public art exhibit featuring the work of some of the world's most well-known contemporary visual artists. The metroCode-produced tour was honoured with a Gold Award for innovation at the November 2007 Canadian eTourism awards.

metroCode has also worked with a variety of arts and culture organizations, staging mobile promotional and marketing campaigns throughout 2006 and 2007. In the Spring of 2008 the company launched its audio/cell phone tour celebrating 100 years of campus life at the University of British Columbia, one of Canada's largest and most renowned universities.
