Ubiquity is an industry leader in the design and production of mobile interpretive media.

Our PDA-based product, the VUEguide, was prototyped in 2004 and iinstalled at Vancouver's Museum of Anthropology from the Spring of 2005 through to Fall 2007. The VUEguide provided a completely new, contextualizing experience for the museum visitor, augmenting the objects in the museum environment with a combination of audio, video, graphics and animations, as selected by by the visitor using the VUEguide's easy to use touchscreen interface.

In the Spring of 2006 the VUEguide was honoured with the Gold Award from the American Association of Museums, in recognition of the highest standards of excellence in the use of media and technology for interpretation and education in history and culture.
